[Managing Athletes](https://support.protern.io/protern-io-accounts?hsLang=en#managing-athletes) # How to turn off an athlete's account renewal ## Using a web browser, login into Protern.io, select Settings-\>Protern Passes, scroll do All Athletes and click Edit Renewal to set their renewal status **Note:** These settings are only available through the browser (phone, computer or tablet) at [https://app.protern.io](https://app.protern.io), not in the Protern Sync Mobile App. **Note:** You will need to have an [active credit card linked to your account](https://support.protern.io/how-to-add-remove-and-change-your-credit-card?hsLang=en) in order to renew the user accounts.  If you pay for more than one Protern account, you can manage the passes under the *Settings-\>Protern Passes* section of the web app. 1.
