Anyone can use Protern Video to film video that includes an accurate time code. This video can then be sent to a Protern user to merge with data.
Parents, other athletes or fans can use Protern Video to film an athlete. The resulting video will have an accurate time code which will allow the coach of the athlete, or the athlete themselves to merge their data with the video.
Here is the process for filming an athlete using Protern Video for non-logged in users.
- Tap on the camera icon in the gallery view
- You can record in either portrait or landscape mode
- Press the red circle to begin and stop recording
- Zoom by using the slider located near the record button
- When you are done filming, tap Save to keep your video or Delete to remove it
