Software for merging data to video for enhanced video analysis

Protern Video, Telemetry Overlay and Dartfish can merge Protern sensor data with video for an enhanced video analysis experience

In order to link the Protern data with video you can use Protern's own video analysis software, or you can use third-party software. The video programs will read the video time code and find then applicable section of Protern data for that time period. There are lots of options for displaying the Protern data that you can experiment with within the software.

We made Protern Video to work seamlessly with Protern. Protern Video is a combination of video analysis and advanced video overlay software. Protern Video automatically downloads the data from Protern and merges it with the video. Overlays are dynamic, letting you switch to different the views depending what is most useful. Files can be shared in Advanced Video format, preserving all the data and ability to switch overlays.

Telemetry Overlay sole purpose is linking data with video. Designed initially for extracting GoPro telemetry data (i.e. speed, acceleration, etc), it now supports Protern data as well as many other formats. The program is simple to use, cost-effective and lets you apply a number of different visualizations.

Dartfish is considered the world's best video analysis software for sport. It's used by more national and professional sport organizations than any other tool. The software supports Protern alpine skiing data and lets you do a number of advanced analysis functions like superimposing one video over an other.
